I recently completed this solid Mahogany bench.  It was a joint effort between Eric Kirchhofer and myself.   Constructed of recylcled Mahogany scraps from a local window manufacturer and vintage hairpin legs Eric salvaged from some vintage furniture.  Constructed with loose mortise and tenon construction and finished with a an oil varnish mixture this project will hold up to years of abuse.
