Kirk Michels Architects, Livingston, Montana

Architectural Intern / Project Manager, June 2005 – October 2009

Intern Development Program completed – August 2009.

While working with Kirk Michels Architects, I had the opportunity to fulfill three major rolls within the firm.

Intern Architect: Worked closely with the Principal Architect and Owners in the development of the architectural plans and details for high end residential and ranch projects.

Project Manager: Responsible for material and labor take offs for the development of estimates and budgets. Wrote invitations to bid, solicited sub contractor bids, award bids, organized contractor billing, and developed application for payments for projects.

Construction Manager / On-Site Superintendent: Visited the job site to oversee project construction. I verified that our designs were being executed per the plans and specifications up to KMA’s quality standards. I was also responsible for scheduling and overseeing sub contractors, while keeping everyone working in harmony.
